About Vera

Vera Gubnitskaia is an artist, a writer, a freelance editor, and a reference librarian. She has degrees from Moscow Institute of Culture (Russia) and Florida State University. Vera lived and worked in Russia and United States. Contributed chapters to several professional anthologies; co-edited multiple anthologies for McFarland and Scarecrow publishers; wrote indexes for Rowman and Littlefield, Bantam, McFarland books. Published book reviews in Journal of International Women’s Studies, Small Press Review, Florida Library Youth Program Newsletter. Participated in art shows in Central Florida. Art included in Still Point Arts Quarterly Magazine, Still Point Arts Gallery Exhibit, Front Porch Review, Serving House Journal.
